Salary £23.26 Per Hour plus £5.54 Per Hour Holiday Pay gross
Fixed Term Contract until 31 July 2027
The Role
As a part-time hourly paid lecturer you will assist in fostering a rich learning environment by teaching clearly structured lessons or sequences of work via courses delivered on a range of days and at different venues throughout the year. You will be committed to excellence, offering the very highest standards in teaching. You will also be expected to contribute towards course marketing.
What We Are Looking For
You should have a relevant animal care qualification at level 3 or equivalent and a recognised teaching qualification (or to achieve within 2 years of appointment). Level 2 (or equivalent) qualifications in numeracy and literacy are also essential. You will need industry experience in animal care or related sectors, experience of teaching at Levels 2 and/or 3 and experience of working with or teaching young people in a further education environment. Familiarity with awarding body requirements and quality assurance processes is also essential.
