About The Role

As a House Porter, you will play an essential role in supporting the Housekeeping operation and ensuring our guest areas, back-of-house spaces, and accommodation areas are maintained to the highest standards. With a hands-on approach, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence, you will help create a seamless and welcoming environment for our guests and colleagues alike.

Working closely with Housekeeping Attendants, Public Area Attendants, and the wider Rooms Division team, you will contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the department while ensuring Four Seasons' renowned standards of cleanliness and presentation are consistently achieved.

What You Will Do

  • Support the Housekeeping team by delivering linen, amenities, and supplies throughout the hotel.
  • Maintain housekeeping storage areas, service pantries, and back-of-house spaces in a clean and organised condition.
  • Remove and dispose of rubbish, recycling, and soiled linen safely and efficiently.
  • Assist with deep-cleaning projects and special housekeeping tasks as required.
  • Deliver guest requests promptly and professionally, ensuring exceptional service at all times.
  • Support room attendants by replenishing stock and ensuring they have the resources required to service guest rooms efficiently.
  • Move furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed while adhering to safe working practices.
  • Identify and report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or cleanliness issues.
  • Maintain public areas and guest corridors to the highest standards of presentation.
  • Uphold Four Seasons' commitment to luxury, service excellence, and guest satisfaction.

What You Bring

  • Previous experience in housekeeping, hospitality, hotels, or a similar operational role is preferred but not essential.
  • A positive, reliable, and hardworking attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good organisational and time-management skills.
  • Physical capability to perform manual handling tasks and remain active throughout a shift.
  • A flexible approach to working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • A professional appearance and a genuine commitment to guest service.
