About the Role
We are looking for enthusiastic and passionate Team Co-Ordinator’s to join the Loddon School. The role will be to work closely with the Children’s Services Managers, Senior Team Co-Ordinator’s and colleagues in promoting and maintaining an environment which is consistent with the highest standards of education, care and well-being and achievement of the children.
You must develop and deliver a suitable waking day curriculum for each child based on the school’s philosophy and the principles of the PLLUSS approach. Within your role you will be required to help plan and organise the daily staffing within your house whilst being responsible for ensuring your unit runs smoothly throughout the day.

- Demonstrate knowledge, understanding and experience in Autism, Learning Disabilities, communication difficulties and positive behaviour supports
- Qualified to an equivalent of a NVQ Level 3 Residential Childcare Diploma
- Willingness to complete NVQ Level 2 Team Leading within 12 months
- Experience in leading and motivating teams (desirable)
- Passionate about providing quality care and education for the children, have patience and understanding and will ensure they always promote the safeguarding and welfare for the children.
Training & Development
We want to give you the best opportunity to learn hands on, how to do your role to the highest standard. Initially you will receive 4 weeks of training where you will shadow an experienced member of the team to allow you to learn and build relationships with the children. You will also attend weekly induction training sessions to support you with your new role.
Your learning and development doesn’t have to stop there though, there are many opportunities to learn more as we offer a wide range of qualifications to support you within your role.

We do also run a minibus service between Basingstoke & Reading. This service operates between 6am–9am and 6.30pm–11pm (Please note that this is not a guaranteed service, but will aim to cover all necessary pick-ups and drop-offs).
Salary
Between £28,138.50 – £30,810, salary is dependent on qualifications and experience within similar settings.
Additional Information
- All applicants must have the Right to Work in the UK and have 12-18 months or more on their Visa.
