Household Catering Lead
Recruitment for Cook/Dietetic Preparation Officer
Salary: £14.45 per hour Hours: 30 hours per week Start: Early starts and every other weekend
About the Role
You will join the team as Cook/Dietetic Preparation Officer, reporting to and collaborating with the Bistro and Catering Manager (BCM). Your responsibilities include:
- Developing recipes that meet the diverse dietary requirements of residents within the Village.
- Supporting residents to enjoy catering as one of their daily highlights through high-quality, wholesome, nutritional, and appetising meals.
- Ensuring health, safety, and food hygiene procedures are followed, in line with:
- Environmental health and H&S regulations
- Belong policies and procedures
- Completing and maintaining HACCP records for household catering.
- Preventing malnutrition and dehydration, consulting best practice guidelines and dietitian advisory advice.
- Overseeing service standards within household kitchens to maintain quality.
- Essential: Familiarity with SALT (Swallowing Ability, Lumbar Spine Testing) and dysphasia protocols.

About You
We are seeking individuals with:
- A passion for food, culinary creativity, and drive to uphold our high standards.
- Commitment to training, mentoring, and supporting a team while adhering to Health and Safety guidelines.
- Desirable: Level 2 or 3 catering qualifications.
- Prior catering experience and a willingness to make the next step in your career.
