About the Role
Prime Life Ltd is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join their team at Springhill Care Home in Accrington.
This specially designed home caters to 116 residents with a wide range of needs, including:
- Physical health conditions
- Age-related requirements
- Mental health support
Candidates must be patient, understanding, and respectful of each resident’s individual abilities.
As a Housekeeper, you will ensure: A clean, comfortable, and homely environment for residents. The highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the home.

Shift & Compensation
- Hours per week: 16
- Salary: £12.96 per hour, rising to £13.32 upon completion of a relevant qualification
- Start Date: September 2026

Responsibilities
- Ensuring a clean, safe, and tidy environment for residents
- Vacuuming and deep cleaning floors, common areas, and hallways
- Sanitising dining spaces, bathrooms, and toilets
- Supporting the Hotel Services team with additional cleaning tasks when required
- Maintaining accurate records and completing necessary documentation

Requirements
- Dependable and meticulous individual with a strong attention to detail
- While previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred, training will be provided
- Must demonstrate a caring, friendly, and professional approach to work
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
