Housekeeper - Astley View Care Home, Chorley, Lancashire
Location: Astley View Care Home, Chorley, Lancashire
Hourly Pay: £13.45
Hours: Full Time (29.75 hours per week); Weekly Rotating Schedule (2-week rolling rota):
- Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
- Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Eligibility & Notes
- Mandatory requirement: Right to Work in the UK for a minimum of 18 months from agreed start date. We do not offer visa sponsorship. Applications from candidates without this requirement will not be progressed further.

- Is a practical, flexible individual who can swiftly address issues, maintain high-quality standards across all communal spaces (including rooms, dining halls, and corridors), and adhere to schedules.

Experience Required

| Supervision & rota skills | Ability to manage tasks & monitor a team (ordering supplies, stock checks) |

Main Housekeeper Responsibilities
✔ Daily cleaning - Ensure all areas are immaculate, adhering to standards & schedules ✔ Inventory management – Check housekeeping supplies, alert Head Housekeeper of shortages ✔ Minor issue handling – Report damages or faults to both the Head Housekeeper and maintenance team
