Do you take pride in creating clean, welcoming, and well-presented environments for customers and colleagues?
We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Housekeeper / General Assistant to support the day-to-day cleanliness and presentation of our Living Well building, including our café and retail areas. This is a varied and hands-on role where you will contribute to delivering a positive experience for all visitors, staff, and volunteers.
As part of a friendly and supportive team, you will help ensure our facilities remain safe, clean, and inviting, reflecting the high standards and values of Willowbrook.
Key Responsibilities
Cleaning and facilities
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness across public areas, including the café, retail space, and communal areas
- Carry out cleaning duties such as:
- Vacuuming, dusting, and polishing
- Mopping floors and maintaining surfaces
- Cleaning washrooms and ensuring supplies are replenished
- Internal window and surface cleaning
- Ensure waste is disposed of safely and appropriately
- Carry out periodic deep cleaning tasks as required
- Safely use and store cleaning equipment and materials in line with health and safety guidance
- Help maintain a clean, welcoming, and safe environment for customers, visitors, and staff

About You
We are looking for someone who is proactive, friendly, and takes pride in delivering high standards.
You Will
- Have previous cleaning, housekeeping, or facilities experience (customer-facing environments desirable)
- Be reliable, organised, and able to manage your workload effectively
- Have a positive, flexible approach and be willing to support across different areas
- Be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrate a commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
- Have good awareness of health & safety and hygiene standards
