Housekeeper – Ensure a high-quality service within Alex Wood House Care Home.
Our home operates with 24-hour residential care across 36 en-suite bedrooms.

Alex Wood House is an outstanding, family-feel residential care home in Cambridge. We are proud of our attractive gardens and exceptional care provision for every resident.
Situated on Fortescue Road (Arbury) – a tranquil neighbourhood 3 miles from Cambridge, our home prioritises comfort and warmth.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Adhere strictly to the cleaning schedule, maintaining high personal presentation and hygiene.
- Ensure full compliance with health and safety policies, including infection control and universal precautions.
- Engage residents in genuine conversation, respecting their lifestyle choices, individual pace, and dignity—no matter their communication needs.

Training, Skills & Experience

Salary & Shift Details
- Salary: £12.71/hour
- Hours: 16.5 hours (rota-based, including weekends).
Location
Fortescue Road (Arbury), Cambridge (CB4 2JS).
