We are seeking an outstanding Housekeeper with a passion for making a real impact on people’s lives.
About the Role
This part-time role is based at Cygnet Joyce Parker Hospital, our emergency mental health hospital in Coventry.
- Hours: 40 hours per week (Mon to Fri 07:30 am to 3:30 pm, plus 1 in 5 weekends)
- Location: Cygnet Joyce Parker Hospital, Coventry
Cygnet Joyce Parker Hospital supports adults with mental health challenges, ensuring they move towards the most appropriate and least restrictive care environment as quickly and safely as possible. Our collaborative care model involves families, service users, commissioners, and carers in recovery journeys.

Key Responsibilities
Day-to-day duties include:
- Ensuring the site maintains a high level of cleanliness
- Carrying out daily and weekly cleaning regimes
- Maintaining and replenishing stock and equipment while ensuring they are clean and well-maintained
- Employing safe working practices and adhering to health and safety procedures
- Complying with Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations

Requirements
- Desirable:
- Experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or domestic work
- Knowledge of COSHH guidelines
- Essential:
- Friendly, conscientious attitude with a positive mindset
- Strong communication skills
All successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
