Housekeeper - A524
Housekeeper – Full-time (Ward A524, Medicine Division)
Ward A524 is a care of the elderly ward within the division of medicine. We are seeking a full-time housekeeper to join our welcoming team in a supportive role, assisting the clinical nursing team to ensure the ward operates smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
You will need to be flexible, adaptable, and organised, with excellent communication skills to liaise with staff across the hospital and work closely with the nursing team. Core duties include:
- Overseeing stock levels across all ward stores, including internal online ordering, while adapting to fluctuating demands.
- Ensuring high standards of cleanliness in both clinical and non-clinical areas.
- Supporting nutritional needs of patients and assisting with non-clinical/clerical tasks.
- Liaising with wider NHS teams (e.g., MEMO, estates, kitchens) on repairs, equipment procurement, and other supporting services.
