We are looking for a Housekeeper and Cook to join the team at Abbeyfield.
Role: Housekeeper and Cook
Location: 2 Woburn Avenue, Lincoln, LN1 3HJ
Hourly Rate: £13.61p/h
Contract: 24 hours p/w
Rota: Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday 9am - 6pm
You can never underestimate the power a friendly face and a home cooked meal has on someone’s day. The role of Housekeeper and Cook is varied, with resident wellbeing at the forefront of what we do.
What We’re Looking For as a Housekeeper and Cook:
- Confidence in cooking for up to 9 people plus
- Strong organizational skills, ready to handle a variety of tasks
- Excellent customer service skills with a genuine understanding of the needs of older people
- Basic computer skills (Outlook and Excel experience is a plus, but full training will be provided)

About The Role Of Housekeeper And Cook
At Abbeyfield Living Society, our goal is to create a warm, community-focused environment where residents feel valued and respected. As a Cook and Resident Support team member, you’ll ensure that residents enjoy wholesome, home-cooked meals while also being a friendly face they can turn to for support. You’ll also assist with general wellbeing, handle any issues that arise, and escalate them when needed. Basic computer and budget management skills are helpful, but full support and training will be provided by our welcoming team.
