Housekeeper – Avocet Court Care Home
As a Housekeeper at Avocet Court Care Home, you will be responsible for ensuring a high-quality standard of cleanliness, safety, and hospitality within the home.

About the Role
Reporting to the Head Housekeeper, this position ensures that cleaning services are consistently delivered at the highest standards, creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both residents and visitors.
- Salary: £12.71 per hour
- Contract Type: 0-hour, rota-based shifts covering Monday to Sunday
- Location: Monmouth Close, Ipswich, England IP2 8RS

Key Duties & Responsibilities
Every effort will include:
- Adhering to a structured cleaning schedule, consistently upholding personal hygiene and highest presentation standards.
- Ensuring all health and safety protocols are enforced, with strict compliance to infection control policies and universal precautions.
- Engaging residents in meaningful conversations and activities, aligning with their interests at a respectful pace and preserving their dignity and communication preferences.
Training, Skills & Experience Required
While experience in a similar role is beneficial, we offer comprehensive onboarding.
- A genuine commitment to care, prioritising the well-being of our residents above all else.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, coupled with high attention to detail.
