Brantham Ward Housekeeper Opportunity
Brantham Ward are looking for a committed, enthusiastic and highly motivated housekeeper to join us and support across all areas of EAU.
You will be an integral part of the team ensuring a high quality service to patients. Excellent communication skills are vital as the role includes liaising with Estates and Facilities, EME and working closely with nursing and Sodexo staff.
Role Responsibilities
- Maintaining Cleanliness: Responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness of clinical equipment specified and the cleanliness of areas where the equipment is stored and those areas that fall outside of the Sodexo Contract.
- Coordination of Patient Facilities: Responsible for the co-ordination of all patient facilities in the ward area ensuring a clean, safe and comfortable environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Supporting the ward area by ensuring equipment is well maintained and stock levels are closely monitored.
- Clinical Equipment Cleanliness: Ensure cleanliness of clinical equipment when not in patient use.
- Reporting and Maintenance: Report any failure, repair or maintenance needed to any equipment and to arrange maintenance to be undertaken.
- Restocking Equipment: Restock equipment as required.
- Environment Creation: Establish a pleasant and welcoming environment for patients, visitors and staff.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Assist in monitoring and maintaining cleaning standards on the ward highlighting concerns to ward sister if necessary.
