Housekeeper / Cleaner
We are recruiting on behalf of a lovely family based in Keston, Kent who are looking for an experienced Cleaner / Housekeeper to join them on a long-term, permanent basis.
This is a varied role combining housekeeping, cleaning, laundry and general household support. The family have a reputation for looking after their staff extremely well and are seeking someone who takes pride in creating a warm, organised and welcoming home.
The position is 4 days per week | 8:30am-4:30pm (some flexibility available). Up to £20 an hour
The Role
- Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of a large family home
- Daily tidying of living areas, kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms
- Laundry, ironing and wardrobe organisation
- Changing bed linen and managing household supplies
- Receiving deliveries and putting away groceries
- Occasional errands such as collecting household items or dog food
- Greeting visitors and providing a warm welcome
- Supporting with occasional family gatherings and entertaining
- Helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the household

About You
- Previous cleaning / cleaner experience is essential
- High standards of cleaning and organisation
- Trustworthy, discreet and professional
- Friendly, warm and personable
- Able to work independently and manage your own workload
- Comfortable around dogs

Hours
4 days per week Monday and Friday are fixed working days, with two additional days agreed. Typically 8:30am-4:30pm, although the family can offer some flexibility around working hours for the right person.
