Housekeeper – Cygnet Acer Clinic

We are looking for an outstanding Housekeeper with a passion for making a difference to others.
About the Role
You’ll be working 40 hours per week (8-hour days, Monday to Friday) at Cygnet Acer Clinic, helping maintain a safe and healthy environment for the people in our care.
Cygnet Acer Clinic is a 28-bed service providing assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation for women with personality disorder and complex needs, or acute mental health needs.
Care is delivered in a therapeutic environment, with a level of security tailored to individual needs. Our treatment and rehabilitation programmes aim to prepare residents for either:
- Transfer to conditions of lower security, or
- A sustainable life in the community.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the site maintains a high level of cleanliness
- Carry out daily and weekly cleaning regimes
- Maintain and replenish stock, keeping equipment clean and well-maintained
- Adhere to safe working practices and health & safety procedures
- Comply with Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations

About You
- Experience: In cleaning, housekeeping, or domestic work (desirable)
- Knowledge: Familiarity with COSHH guidelines (desirable)
- Personality traits: Friendly, conscientious, with a positive attitude and strong communication skills
Successful applicants will undergo an enhanced DBS check.
