About the Role
Keeping our hospitals clean and safe is a top priority for us. We are looking for a Housekeeper to help create a welcoming, hygienic environment for patients. Your responsibilities will include cleaning and preparing various areas while using the latest equipment, products, and supported by a comprehensive training programme. You’ll take pride in your work, ensuring rooms, common spaces, waste removal, linen collection, and deep cleaning are all carried out effectively.

Key Responsibilities
As a Housekeeper, you will:
- Prioritise patient care by organising work efficiently and delivering a clean environment without compromising patient experience, aligned with guidance from Heads of Housekeeping.
- Ensure strong communication, customer service, and teamwork as you collaborate with colleagues and interact with patients daily.
- Be motivated, friendly, and flexible, adapting to the needs of the hospital each day.
- Ideally, bring experience in a similar role or a forward-thinking attitude, demonstrating strong organisation skills and the ability to follow cleaning protocols for a safe and pleasant environment.
- Work closely with the Infection Prevention team, ensuring timely incident reporting to relevant authority members.
Requirements
- Prior housekeeping experience is desirable but not essential for motivated candidates.
- Excellent attention to detail—your work directly impacts patient well-being.
- Strong communication skills—whether team collaboration or patient interaction.
- Flexibility to adapt to dynamic hospital needs.
- A proactive attitude and a commitment to a clean, infection-safe environment.
