Housekeeper – Residential Care (Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire & East Yorkshire)

At Hatzfeld Care, we provide residential care for adults with a wide range of needs, including Asperger’s, schizophrenia, eating disorders, age-related illnesses, or dementia. Each person receives a tailored person-centred care plan to meet their individual requirements.

With care services based in Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire and East Yorkshire, we offer various full-time career opportunities supporting adults with differing levels of need. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, person-centred responsive care.


About the Role

As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for organising and delivering cleaning services in line with agreed standards, legislative requirements, relevant regulations, and best practices. A key role in safeguarding and maintaining service quality.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in assessing the effectiveness of cleaning implementation and delivery
  • Supervise cleaning and laundry services within the home to ensure adherence to agreed standards
  • Implement actions to meet and maintain cleaning standards
  • Systematically resolve day-to-day problematic issues as they arise
  • Evaluate standards of cleaning competence
  • Ensure Service Users’ rights are protected
  • Promote and safeguard the welfare of individuals supported

Essential Communication Skills

  • Proficient written and verbal English for clear communication
  • Ability to effectively communicate with Service Users and their visitors

Requirements

Desirable (Not Essential)

  • Previous experience in a similar work environment
  • Previous housekeeping experience
  • Familiarity with supporting Service Users who have additional support needs

Terms & Conditions

  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Hours: 24 hours per week (4x 6-hour shifts)
  • Salary: £12.88 per hour
