Housekeeper
Housekeeper – Full-Time Role at The Windmill (Boutique Hotel & Restaurant)
About The Windmill
The Windmill is a famous pub, restaurant and 42-bedroom boutique hotel located on Clapham Common. We pride ourselves on being a very dog-friendly workplace (fans of Monty, our resident pub dog, are a bonus!). Our venue is always lively, so we’re looking for candidates who can deliver exceptional customer service with big smiles—even when packed to the rafters.
We serve a variety of beers, cocktails and modern British seasonal food, including locally sourced steaks from Ginger Pig Butchers.
Responsibilities
The Housekeeper plays a critical role in maintaining our boutique hotel’s high standards to ensure guests leave with lasting)**positive impressions. Duties include:
- Daily cleaning and maintenance – Ensuring all rooms, public areas and facilities meet impeccable standards.
- Linen and supply management – Tracking and replenishing guest provisions, laundry and equipment.
- Deep cleaning tasks – Completing weekly and monthly projects to a highest possible standard.
- Lawful equipment maintenance – Responsible for the upkeep of cleaning materials and tools.
- Team collaboration – Working closely with Catering, Housekeeping and F&B teams for consistency and efficiency.

Requirements
✅ Passion for customer service with a friendly, outgoing personality.
✅ High attention to detail – Absolute commitment to cleanliness and precision.
✅ Team player attitude – Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
✅ Experience in cleaning – Especially in hotels or similar hospitality venues is preferred.
