Location: Keldy (North Yorkshire)
Salary: £12.71 per hour
Working Hours: Part-time, 20 hours.
Days of Work: Monday, Friday and either Saturday or Sunday.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Housekeeper & Laundry Assistant to join our team at Keldy.

Be part of creating memorable escapes in one of North Yorkshire’s most peaceful forest settings. Develop your skills while ensuring our cabins are beautifully prepared for every guest.

Our cabins at Keldy are deep in the forest; some are just visible between the trees and others enjoy an outlook onto grassy, sunlit glades. Here, surrounded by nature, you can truly relax.

About the Housekeeper & Laundry Assistant Role:

Open all year round, our Housekeepers work in small teams, cleaning multiple cabins per shift. Passionate about the little details, you understand the importance of exceptional cleanliness, it’s what keeps our guests coming back time and time again.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Cleaning and preparing multiple cabins per shift to the highest standard.
  • Ensuring all cabins are spotless, welcoming, and fully stocked with fresh linen for arriving guests.
  • Packing, sorting, and preparing clean laundry and linen to ensure it is ready for cabin changeovers.
  • Taking pride in your work and attention to detail at all times.
  • Following brand standards to ensure every guest experiences the Forest Feeling from the moment they step into their cabin.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • A positive, can-do attitude and a strong work ethic
  • The ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues
  • Great attention to detail, ensuring high cleanliness standards are met
  • Some previous experience in a similar role
  • A willingness to work outdoors in a natural setting, whatever the weather

Pay Rates for Aged 16 and 17:

  • 16 years: £8.00 per hour
  • 17 years: £10.85 per hour
