Company Description Palé Hall is a luxurious destination for quiet retreat, comfort and culinary indulgence. Situated in the tranquil Dee valley this grand, historic Victorian mansion has an idyllic woodland garden rolling down to the banks of the river. The spectacular Snowdonia National Park is on our doorstep. The hotel features eighteen luxurious, individually styled bedrooms and suites with sumptuous décor, each with a beautifully appointed bathroom. In addition there are four charming garden suites situated within the estate grounds. Quality and excellence are what sets Palé Hall apart from other hotels. Our kind and hardworking housekeepers take pride in servicing our guest rooms, suites and lounges to an impeccable standard, with a keen eye for attention to every detail. We're a friendly and flexible team who do our best to give every guest a really memorable stay. Experience is useful but not essential, we'll give you all the training you need. Immediate start available. Job Description To ensure that all guest accommodation, public areas, cloakrooms and any other specified areas are cleaned, serviced and vacuumed to the required standards and in accordance with hotel standards of performance, with rubbish disposed of carefully and safely. To replenish hospitality trays and complimentary in-room beverages. To ensure that all dirty linen is processed in the correct manner. To perform the daily turndown service to the specified standard. To report any maintenance issues to the Head Housekeeper. To carefully note the daily housekeeping list to ensure that all guest details and requirements are carried out, e.g. twin beds, dog facilities, champagne, flowers, chocolates etc in the room as requested. To ensure all hotel keys in use by you are signed out and back in at the beginning and end of each shift. To communicate any customer comments/feedback promptly and professionally to management so that appropriate action can be taken. To display a high standard of personal presentation and grooming standards in accordance with company guidelines. Qualifications Previous housekeeping experience not essential, full training will be given. We look for reliability, flexibility and a positive, enthusiastic attitude.
