Housekeeper - Part-Time
Housekeeper – Thamesfield Retirement Village, Henley-on-Thames

At Thamesfield Retirement Village, we’re looking for a Housekeeper to deliver exceptional standards of cleanliness and customer service.
About the Role
We offer a part-time role (25 hours per week) with flexible working hours (5-hour shifts between 8am–2pm, Monday–Friday). This is a fixed 4–6 week contract.
Responsibilities
As a Housekeeper, you’ll ensure the highest standards of cleanliness across:
- Residents' apartments (dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitising surfaces)
- Linens and laundry (attentive care for residents’ needs)
- Communal areas (lounges, dining rooms, hallways)
- Assisting with light maintenance where required
- Maintaining overall hygiene and tidiness throughout the village

Requirements
- Previous housekeeping experience, preferably in residential or hospitality
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work efficiently and independently
- Strong communication skills with a friendly and compassionate approach
- Sensitivity to the needs of older adults
- Experience with background checks and relevant training is a must
