Housekeeper – Part-Time (20 Hours/Week) – Lime Tree Retirement Village

About the Role
We are seeking a Housekeeper to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and service across the village and in residents’ homes, alongside providing excellent customer service. This is a part-time position (20 hours per week) with flexible hours between 9am and 5pm.
Responsibilities
As a Housekeeper at Lime Tree Retirement Village, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of our residents’ homes and communal spaces. Key duties include:

- Performing regular cleaning tasks in residents’ apartments, such as:
- Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
- Laundering residents’ linens and clothing with care
- Ensuring communal areas (lounges, dining areas, hallways) are clean and welcoming
- Assisting with light maintenance tasks as needed
- Upholding high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the village
Requirements
Ideal candidates will have:
- Previous experience in housekeeping, preferably in a residential or hospitality setting
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and independently
- Excellent communication skills, with a friendly and compassionate demeanour
- Sensitivity to the needs and preferences of older adults
- Willingness to undergo background checks and relevant training
