Housekeeper – The Willowbury Retirement Village
We’re looking for a Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents at The Willowbury, a beautiful new retirement village in West Malling.
This is a full-time role working 5 days per week, including some evenings and weekend shifts—flexibility is key.

- Daily deep cleaning in residents’ apartments, including:
- Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
- Changing and laundering linen (beds, towels, curtains) with gentle care
- Maintaining communal areas, such as:
- Lounges, dining rooms, hallways, and common spaces (keeping them filthy-free and welcoming)
- Ensuring high hygiene standards at all times
- Assisting with light maintenance tasks (e.g., organizing, minor repairs where needed)
- Upholding strict cleanliness protocols across the entire village
- Assisting with laundry and linen management to ensure residents’ comfort
This role requires **physical stamina, dependability, and a keen eye for detail—because at The Willowbury, we never settle for less than the best.
Requirements & Skills
We’re looking for: ✅ Experience in housekeeping, ideally in a residential or hospitality setting ✅ Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and independently ✅ Excellent communication skills—you’ll be interacting with residents frequently ✅ A calm, compassionate, and patient demeanour (especially when working with older adults) ✅ Reliability and discretion—your work will directly impact residents' well-being ✅ Willingness to undergo background checks and mandatory training (if required)
