Scale 1 - £24,796 per annum (pro rata)
Actual salary - £14,743.57
Part-time, 22 hours per week, all year round
About the School
South Wolds is a high attaining, semi-rural popular school located in the village of Keyworth in Nottinghamshire which is only 6 miles from West Bridgford. We are also a founding partner of the East Midlands Education Trust, committed to providing a first class education for all of our students.

The South Wolds Academy & Sixth Form in Keyworth is seeking to fill the position of Housekeeper/Catering Assistant. This is a dual role working with both the general housekeeping and catering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Working with both the general housekeeping and catering teams.
- Commitment to high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
- Physically able to meet the requirements of the role (walking, laying out and putting away furniture).
- Demonstrating a commitment to working in a safe manner.
- Being willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check.

Requirements
- Previous experience in a school environment is not essential.
- Previous experience in either catering, housekeeping or general cleaning would be an advantage but are not necessary.
- Good communication skills.
- Willingness to work around young people.
- Friendly and approachable manner.
- Willingness to learn.
Hours of Work
- Term time: Monday to Thursday 12.15pm to 4.45pm and Friday 12.15pm to 4.00pm.
- School holidays: Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 12.30pm and Friday 8.00am to 12.00pm.

- The successful candidate will have to meet the requirements of the person specification in order to be offered the post.
