Role Overview

We are working with a college near Oxford City centre who are looking for several Housekeepers/Scouts to start on a Temporary basis with a view to potentially offering a permanent role, should things go well.

Hours & Pattern:

  • 25-30 hours per week
  • 5 days per week
    • Option 1: 6 AM to 12 PM
    • Option 2: 7 AM to 12 PM

Responsibilities

  • Cleaning a variety of College buildings, including:
    • Student bedrooms
    • Bathrooms
    • Kitchens
    • Fellows' rooms
    • Communal areas
    • Maintaining the highest cleaning standards
  • Making up beds and preparing rooms for guest occupancy
  • Removing rubbish and recycling to designated collection areas
  • Reporting:
    • Maintenance issues
    • Health and safety concerns
    • Breaches of College rules
  • Supporting security measures by reporting any suspicious activity or hazards
  • Maintaining a safe working environment in line with College Health and Safety policies
  • Supporting colleagues and covering duties when necessary
