Rowanbrook Care Home
Rowanbrook Care Home is a purpose-built service in Walsall, providing specialist nursing and residential care for 59 residents with complex health needs. The home offers a structured and supportive environment where a multidisciplinary team delivers high-quality, person-centred care focused on stability, wellbeing, and maintaining independence.
Housekeeping Assistant Contract
- £12.71 per hour
- 30 hours per week
- Shift times: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Benefits: Pension, onsite parking, paid DBS, uniform provided
- Annual leave: 5.6 weeks (based on a full-time contract)
Role Overview
As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will play a key role within a specialist complex care setting, supporting individuals with a range of complex physical and mental health needs by maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment while also supporting laundry services.

- Cleaning residents’ rooms, bathrooms, and communal areas, ensuring all spaces are maintained to a high standard of hygiene and presentation.
- Supporting laundry duties including washing, drying, ironing, and returning clothing correctly, ensuring all items are clearly labelled and handled with care.
Working closely with the wider team, you will follow infection control, health and safety, and housekeeping procedures, ensuring all tasks are carried out safely and efficiently. Your role will contribute to a well-organised, hygienic, and comfortable environment where individuals feel respected and supported.
What We Are Looking For
- A positive and reliable approach
- Good attention to detail and organisation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Understanding of hygiene, infection control, and safe working practices is beneficial
- Previous experience is welcomed but not essential
