About The Role
As a Housekeeping Assistant, your core responsibility is maintaining cleanliness and laundry standards within the home while operating according to Avery Healthcare’s standard operating procedures. This ensures hotel service-level standards are consistently upheld.

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute all cleaning duties as per worksheet instructions.
- Demonstrate knowledge of cleaning techniques for various surfaces, materials, and coverings, ensuring areas remain well-presented and in good condition.
- Respect residents’ dignity—maintain high standards in personal space and belonging care.

Must-Have Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven Health & Safety awareness, particularly in:
- Moving & Handling techniques (for resident care).
- Fire Safety protocols.
- COSHH certification.
- Hands-on experience in laundry and cleaning operations within a public/clinical setting.
- Compassion and commitment to delivering high-quality housekeeping/laundry service with professionalism and empathy.
- Flexibility and adaptability: Ability to pivot responsibilities at short notice.
