About the Role
Cosener’s House Hotel—a 50-bedroom hotel with conference facilities—seeks a Housekeeper to join our dedicated team. This is an opportunity to work in a supportive, inclusive environment that fosters growth, collaboration, and a strong work-life balance.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all accommodation is immaculate and maintained to the highest standards in line with hotel policies.
- Upkeep of public and private areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, corridors, and ancillary spaces.
- Grooming and refreshing linen, towels, and accessories as required.
- Assisting in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff.
- Performing cleaning, restocking, and minor repairs where necessary.
- Working flexibly as part of a rotating five-shift, seven-day schedule (shifts include 08:30 hrs – 14:00 hrs with breakfast break included).
- Opportunity for overtime to cover extra shifts/time off in lieu (TOL) arrangements.

Requirements
No prior experience is essential—we welcome anyone who is passionate, proactive, and eager to learn. It would be an asset to have:
- Previous experience in cleaning, guest services, or hospitality.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
- Flexibility to adapt to rotating shifts and workload demands.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Willingness to engage in continuous learning and embrace BaxterStorey’s culture.
Rate of Pay
- £13.40 per hour (25 hours weekly)
- Over-time and TOL available
