We’re now looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our award-winning team as a Housekeeping Assistant at Virginia Water Care Home.
About The Role
Your focus as a Housekeeping Assistant will be to work as part of a team, ensuring that all standards of cleanliness and laundry are maintained in the care home. You will operate according to hospitality service standards (hotel standards) while following standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry.

Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out all cleaning duties in accordance with worksheet instructions.
- Demonstrating an understanding of cleaning requirements for different surfaces and coverings and ensuring proper use of cleaning materials to maintain high standards.
- Upholding dignity and respect for all residents—ensuring their personal space and belongings are treated with care.
About You

Essential Requirements:
- Health and Safety knowledge, including:
- Moving and Handling techniques
- Fire Safety
- COSHH assessments
- Experience cleaning laundry in a public healthcare or care environment
- Strong ability to demonstrate compassion and commitment to delivering high-quality housekeeping/laundry services
- Flexibility to adapt to a variety of responsibilities at short notice
