We are looking for a reliable and caring Housekeeping Assistant to join our team and help maintain clean, comfortable, and welcoming environments across our villages. We are driven by a clear purpose: to build real communities that enhance the lives of our residents every single day.
As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring that both residents’ homes and communal areas are kept to a high standard. Your attention to detail, pride in your work, and friendly approach will help create a safe, tidy, and inviting space for everyone who lives and visits here.

The Role
As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be:
- Cleaning designated areas, ensuring they are kept tidy, hygienic, and welcoming
- Carrying out housekeeping duties within residents’ homes with care and discretion
- Maintaining communal areas so they are consistently neat, tidy, and well presented
- Cleaning floors, including vacuuming, shampooing carpets, and polishing furniture and woodwork
- Emptying and relining waste bins, following correct disposal procedures
- Cleaning windows and glass surfaces within reach
- Carrying out laundry duties efficiently and to a high standard
- Adhering to COSHH regulations and maintaining a safe working environment at all times

Key Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Housekeeping Assistant, Housekeeper, or Cleaner
- Self-motivated, personable, and able to communicate effectively with residents, colleagues, and visitors
- Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to respond to changing priorities and shift patterns
- A basic understanding of infection control, COSHH, and compliance standards is desirable, though full training will be provided
