Housekeeper
As a Housekeeper, you'll help ensure residents enjoy a clean, safe and comfortable environment that feels like home. Through your attention to detail and commitment to high standards, you'll make an important contribution to residents' daily lives and wellbeing.
What You Will Do
- Clean and maintain resident bedrooms and communal areas
- Follow cleaning schedules and infection control procedures
- Support laundry and linen services where required
- Ensure cleaning equipment is used and stored safely
- Monitor cleaning supplies and report shortages
- Report maintenance concerns promptly
- Help create a welcoming environment for residents and visitors
About You
You will be dependable, hardworking and able to work effectively as part of a team. You'll take pride in maintaining high standards and understand the importance of cleanliness in a care environment.
Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience would be beneficial but is not essential. We're looking for people with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

Requirements
As a Christian organisation, you will need to have a respect for all aspects of Christian worship.
You will also need to become a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to adhere to the SSSC Code of practice.
