The Fairlie Healthcare Group is a leading provider of highquality care which was established in 1999. We specialise in caring for adults with neurological conditions, as well as patients with tracheostomies, and who require ventilator support.
We currently have three homes, Fairlie House which is in West Norwood with 45 beds, Highfield House which is located in Purley with 45 beds and finally, Woodstown House in Banstead with 40 beds, which opened its doors to its first residents in April 2021. All three homes have achieved the highest rating from the Care Quality Commission, and we continually strive to maintain our 'Outstanding' rating.
We have big plans for this year, due to the expansion of our organisation, and with this in mind, it's a fantastic time to join our friendly team where you can really make a difference to the lives of others.

We are searching for an outstanding Domestic Cleaner for the Fairlie Healthcare Group. At Fairlie Healthcare, we operate three specialised care centres in West Norwood, Purley and Banstead, all providing care for people with complex neurological and respiratory conditions.

Scope
The Housekeeping Assistant will be responsible for a variety of cleaning tasks and these will take place on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. The duties will include cleaning bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms, clinical rooms, sluice rooms & therapy rooms. The other areas which will be required to be cleaned will be the communal resident's lounge, communal dining room, offices, changing rooms, stairs, and corridors.
What will my duties be?
Making sure that the cleaning work schedule is adhered to making sure that tasks are always carried out and completed as well as quality standards being maintained. Ensuring that when working with residents you always demonstrate courtesy, consideration, and kindness. Working effectively within the Housekeeping Team and uphold the home's core Values. Coordinating with management and staff to deal with unexpected cleaning tasks within the home. Storing cleaning materials correctly as required by the COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health laws) and to keep all equipment in good working order. Carrying out all safety measures as required and to attend healthy and safety, safeguarding of vulnerable adults, infection prevention and control, mental capacity act, manual handling, gold standards framework, first aid, CPR, COSH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health), food hygiene, core values & values framework, equality, diversity and inclusion, information governance and fire safety.

What do I need to be successful?
For this role, you are required to have the following attributes:
You Must have full right to work in the UK without sponsorship (we are not accepting candidates on a student visa and skilled workers) No specific qualifications are needed for this role, although some experience of cleaning and working within a laundry environment is beneficial. Being consistent, reliable, and hard working with the ability to work well as part of a team. Furthermore, full training from Housekeeping will be given to the successful candidate to ensure that you have all the relevant material to allow you to carry out your duties successfully.
