Housekeeping Assistant
Housekeeping Assistant – 26 Hours per Week

As a Housekeeping Assistant at HC-One, kindness will shape your work—whether through Dementia care, Nursing, Residential, or Specialist homes. You’ll contribute to something meaningful: giving back via respect, compassion, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
- Regularly clean bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas
- Follow cleaning schedules and tasks assigned by your team lead
- Use cleaning products safely and comply with hygiene protocols
- Support infection control, safety standards, and regular maintenance
- Assist with laundry and linen care
- Report issues or repairs promptly
Most of all, you’ll do this with pride, care, and consistency. Whether ticking off tasks or helping out, kindness and professionalism matter.
Training is provided, but some existing housekeeping experience is helpful. You should be organised, resilient, and detail-orientated. Your attitude will be just as important as your skills—every interaction should reflect respect and compassion.
Safeguarding & Training Commitment
Safeguarding is essential. You’ll:
- Recognise signs of abuse, harm, or neglect
- Attend role-specific safeguarding training
- Know how to seek advice and escalate concerns if action isn’t taken
