Housekeeping Assistant
Contract: Bank Zero Hours
Working hours: This department works shifts between Monday - Sunday, 10pm – 6am
Salary: £13.20 per hour
Do you have experience in working as a clearer or as a housekeeper? KIMS Hospital is a state-of-the-art hospital which you could help keep up to scratch every day for our patients. Role Responsibilities Include
- To provide a high-quality housekeeping service to all areas including patient rooms, bathrooms, and communal areas, ensuring that excellent standards of cleanliness and hygiene are both achieved and maintained.
- Support the housekeeping team in delivering excellent patient service across all areas and departments of the hospital.
- To work within infection control guidelines at all times when working within clinical areas of the hospital.
- Ensure cleaning materials are used according to the relevant COSHH requirements.

Person Specification
- Have previous housekeeping / cleaning experience within a similar environment.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Possess some knowledge of COSHH, the guidelines that surround this legislation and how these would be applied within a clinical setting.
- Demonstrate a flexible approach, responding to the needs of the department.
- Be a good team player.
