Housekeeping Assistant
Contract: Bank Zero Hours
Working hours: This department works shifts between Monday - Sunday, 10pm – 6am
Salary: £13.20 per hour
Do you have experience in working as a clearer or as a housekeeper? KIMS Hospital is a state-of-the-art hospital which you could help keep up to scratch every day for our patients. If you enjoy being active in your job, have amazing attention to detail and want to be part of something bigger this could be perfect for you!
Role Responsibilities Include
- To provide a high-quality housekeeping service to all areas including patient rooms, bathrooms, and communal areas, ensuring that excellent standards of cleanliness and hygiene are both achieved and maintained.
- Support the housekeeping team in delivering excellent patient service across all areas and departments of the hospital.
- To work within infection control guidelines at all times when working within clinical areas of the hospital.
- Ensure cleaning materials are used according to the relevant COSHH requirements.

Person Specification
- Have previous housekeeping / cleaning experience within a similar environment.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Possess some knowledge of COSHH, the guidelines that surround this legislation and how these would be applied within a clinical setting.
- Demonstrate a flexible approach, responding to the needs of the department.
- Be a good team player.
