You will be required to work Saturday and Sunday for a total of 15 hours per week.
Are you a hardworking and enthusiastic individual looking for a rewarding role in healthcare? We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our friendly team at Wexham Park Hospital, Slough.
In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring patients have a comfortable and positive experience by:

About The Role
As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our patients and staff.
Purpose Of Job
Work as a member of the housekeeping team, contributing to the provision of a comfortable and effective stay for patients, by ensuring that the ward/departments are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and to help serve meals as required.
Work as a member of the non-ward-based team, ensuring that all non-ward areas (offices, corridors, etc.) are cleaned to a high standard of cleanliness, maintaining a pleasant environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
To carry out the full range of duties listed below.

Education/Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Good level of basic education.
- Able to demonstrate literacy, numeracy, and comprehension skills.
Desirable criteria
- NVQ level 1 in cleaning and support services building interior
- Basic food hygiene.
Experience
Essential criteria
- Basic housekeeping experience
- Hygiene COSSH procedures
Desirable criteria
- Infection prevention and control
- NHS experience.
Skills & Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Good communication skills.
- Able to deal confidently and professionally with members of the public and staff
- Able to read and understand written and verbal communication/instruction.
- Team worker
- Customer-focused
- Basic IT skills
