About the Role
Join our One Great Team at Haven as a Porter, where you’ll be an essential member of our Cleaning Services team. Your role ensures our guests receive exceptional stays by supporting tasks that keep our accommodations fresh, clean, and welcoming.
As an Accommodation Cleaning Porter, you’ll handle a range of responsibilities, including managing linens, inventory, and light cleaning to create a positive guest experience every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare fresh linens, pillows, and duvets for delivery, and assist with returning used linens for cleaning.
- Wash and maintain smarter items such as curtains, duvets, and pillows to keep them guest-ready.
- Organise and track hire goods, manage stock control, and monitor inventory levels to maintain an orderly supply system.
- Provide support with light cleaning tasks in common areas and accommodations when required.
- Always adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements
- Experience: Experience as a Housekeeping Porter or in a similar role is beneficial but not essential.
- Physical capabilities: Comfortable with lifting, moving, and handling supplies and cleaning equipment.
- Work ethic: Enjoy working with others and be willing to assist wherever needed.
- Flexibility: Willing to work bank holidays and school holidays when required.
