Housekeeping Supervisor – Taymouth Castle Golf & Sport Club

About the Role

An important and vital role within the Club, our Housekeeping Supervisor supports the Residential Services Director and Housekeeping Manager in ensuring the overall operation runs smoothly. On shift, you’re responsible for the day-to-day running of the department—maintaining luxury standards and creating exceptional guest experiences.

The Residential Services Department is spread across the entire estate, working collaboratively across various areas of the club. We believe in having fun, creating memorable moments, and turning visits into unique experiences for members and guests in their ‘home from home.’

The team works daily to uphold continuity of service. As the Housekeeping Supervisor, you’ll guide and support housekeeping staff, ensuring they meet their individual tasks with a focus on exceptional service, efficiency, and luxury quality. Your role is central to sustaining the high standards of this historic 19th-century castle.

Key Responsibilities

Team & Area Management

  • Assign Housekeeping Assistants to areas, including the castle, members’ homes, and various estate locations, ensuring adequate staffing as needed.
  • Conduct daily shift briefings and lead monthly team meetings with a proactive approach.
  • Develop and train staff through structured programs, maintaining high standards of service and attention to detail.

Quality Assurance

  • Review and inspect suites, members’ homes, and castle areas to ensure refreshment and impeccable cleanliness/presentation before, during, and at shift handover.
  • Actively monitor and address special projects and maintenance issues across the estate, ensuring timelines are met.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
