Core focus of the Housekeeping Supervisor – Luxury Residential Building

Reporting to the Building Manager, the Housekeeping Supervisor will be responsible for managing all cleaning and housekeeping operations within the luxury residential development, ensuring the highest standards of presentation and hygiene are consistently maintained across communal areas and resident amenities.

Day-to-day of the role

Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate the on-site housekeeping team and external cleaning contractors, ensuring efficient scheduling and deployment of staff. Quality Control: Conduct regular, detailed inspections of all communal areas, plant rooms, amenity spaces (e.g., gym, cinema room, lounge), and show apartments to ensure they meet the client’s exacting 5-star standards. Operational Management: Manage inventory and ordering of cleaning supplies, materials, and equipment, ensuring cost-effectiveness and appropriate stock levels. Health & Safety: Ensure the housekeeping team adheres strictly to all Health & Safety (COSHH) regulations and safe working practices. Liaison: Work closely with the Concierge, Maintenance, and Management teams to coordinate cleaning schedules around building activities and resident needs. Reporting: Maintain accurate records of cleaning logs, staff rotas, and quality audits.
