The Role
We’re searching for an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping department with precision, passion, and people leadership. In this role, you’ll oversee cleanliness, team motivation, and outstanding service across guest areas while ensuring every detail meets our premium standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping team, maintaining & surpassing departmental standards
- Supervise and coach the housekeeping team, fostering a culture of excellence, precision, and guest-first service
- Inspect guest rooms and public spaces to guarantee impeccable standards are upheld
- Oversee laundry operations and guest laundry services, ensuring efficiency
- Develop team members through training, mentoring, and performance management
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and performance reviews
- Act as a backup for the Head of Housekeeping when required
- Identify and report maintenance issues promptly
- Manage stock levels & budgets, supporting cost control within department goals
- Deliver exceptional guest service at every interaction

What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in a housekeeping supervisory role (preferably within hospitality)
- Strong leadership skills: ability to motivate, mentor, and lead a team effectively
- Sterling attention to detail and unwavering commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Proactive, hands-on approach—some floor management still required
- Excellent organisational & communication skills to thrive in a fast-paced team
- Knowledge of health & safety and COSHH procedures
- Experience with rota planning or workforce management systems (preferred)
