About the Role
Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch, set at the end of The Mall opposite Buckingham Palace, is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to join its founding team ahead of its anticipated opening later this year. This is an exceptional opportunity for a proven leader in luxury hospitality to shape the guest experience at this landmark 100-room hotel, which will feature:
- 17,500 sqft of private residences
- Two signature restaurants: Coreus by Clare Smyth and Café Boulud by Daniel Boulud (two of the world’s most celebrated Michelin-starred chefs)
- A world-class spa, state-of-the-art fitness facilities, and grand event spaces, including a 320-guest ballroom

Responsibilities
As Housekeeping Supervisor, you will ensure flawless standards across all hotel operations. Your key duties include:

Scheduling & Management
- Assign daily tasks to Housekeeping Team Members with precision and efficiency.
- Plans and supervises deep-cleaning initiatives and special projects.

Quality Assurance
- Conducts meticulous check-out room inspections and spot checks of occupied rooms.
- Inspects service areas, storerooms, and corridors to uphold back-of-house elegance.
- Identifies and resolves maintenance/departmental issues promptly.

Team Leadership
- Trains, coaches, and manages Room Attendants to meet/exceed brand standards.
- Oversees stock control and equipment upkeep, ensuring optimal use.

Guest Excellence
- Delivers personalised VIP service and triages special guest requests seamlessly.
- Elevates luxury service protocols and brand compliance.
Requirements
Essential
- Proven experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor in a luxury or five-star hotel.
- Proven leadership: Ability to motivate, develop, and lead high-performing teams.
- Keen attention to detail—immaculate room/facility presentation is non-negotiable.
- Superior communication: Confident, professional, and diplomatic across all levels.
- Luxury service mindset: Passion for anticipatory, memorable guest experiences.
- Tech proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Office (a plus).
