Housing Advice Officer (Contact-Centre Based)

Housing Advice Officer – Full-Time (Customer Hub Role)

Are you looking for an alternative to fieldwork while still maintaining frontline customer contact? Join us as a Housing Advice Officer in our customer hub—a fantastic opportunity to use your expertise in tenancy and housing management, particularly in areas like antisocial behaviour (ASB) and safeguarding.

About the Role

As a Housing Officer, you’ll deliver a telephony-based advisory service to our tenants, addressing complex issues related to:

  • Antisocial behaviour
  • Estate-related concerns

Your role will involve:

  • Identifying core issues quickly and efficiently
  • Resolving queries independently as much as possible
  • Collaborating with teams across the organisation where required

This office-based position (35 hours/week, Monday to Friday) operates on variable shifts:

  • 08:00–16:00
  • 09:00–17:00
  • 10:00–18:00

Candidates must be *flexible in their shift availability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support to tenants via phone with complex housing queries, including ASB and safeguarding concerns
  • Analyse issues objectively to determine the best course of action
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve problems efficiently
  • Maintain professionalism when dealing with emotive, sometimes challenging customer interactions

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
