Housing Disrepair Solicitor
Location: Manchester or Liverpool
Working Pattern: Full-time | Hybrid Working
Salary: Up to £60,000 + Excellent Bonus Scheme
The Opportunity
A well-established and rapidly expanding specialist litigation firm is looking to appoint a Housing Disrepair Solicitor to join its growing Housing Litigation team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded practice specialising in claimant housing litigation, offering high-quality work, genuine career progression and one of the strongest bonus structures in the market.
You'll manage your own caseload of housing disrepair matters while working within a supportive team environment, benefiting from structured training and ongoing development.
The Role
The successful candidate will manage a high-volume caseload of pre and post-litigated housing disrepair claims from inception through to conclusion.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing your own caseload of housing disrepair claims.
- Handling matters in accordance with the Pre-Action Protocol for Housing Conditions Claims.
- Drafting Letters of Claim and other legal documentation.
- Reviewing housing records and surveyor reports to assess liability.
- Negotiating settlements and advising clients throughout the litigation process.
- Issuing court proceedings where necessary.
- Liaising with counsel, experts and other third parties.
- Delivering excellent client care while working within a fast-paced litigation environment.

About You
The firm is keen to hear from:
- Qualified Solicitors, Chartered Legal Executives (CILEX) or highly experienced Housing Disrepair Fee Earners.
- NQ+ Solicitors with relevant Housing Disrepair experience.
- Candidates from fast-paced litigation backgrounds such as Housing Disrepair, Personal Injury, RTA or other high-volume civil litigation.
- Lawyers who are confident managing a busy caseload and working to deadlines.
- Individuals with excellent organisational, communication and case management skills.
