Pay: £27,500 per annum (pro-rata), £14.06 per hour Great benefits including Health Cash Plan
Employment type & hours: Permanent, part-time (22.5 hrs per week on a rota system including weekends)
Location: Wilkinson House, covering properties across Wymondham & Norwich
About the Role

This is a great opportunity for a Housing Management Coordinator to join our team here in Wilkinson House. As our Housing and Property specialist, you’ll focus on tenancy support for our customers, ensuring their homes are safe and well-maintained.
Providing a housing management service, you’ll support them to manage and maintain their tenancy and rent accounts, with the aim of helping them move on to secure, long-term accommodation.
What You’ll Do
You’ll work with customers who have experienced homelessness, with a variety of needs, including:
- Offending
- Physical/mental health issues
- Substance misuse
Key responsibilities include:
- Engaging and involving customers in their tenancies while ensuring their properties are homes they can be proud of.
- Assisting with housing benefit claims to ensure funds reach their rent accounts.
- Issuing and signing warning letters and notices, potentially involving court proceedings.
- Preparation of vacant or void properties for reoccupation, adhering to set timescales.
- Ensuring health and safety compliance, and maintaining property standards.

What You’ll Need
Essential Requirements:
- Experience in managing a housing management caseload, including overview of landlord and housing management duties.
- Proven knowledge of:
- Re-letting of rooms or units
- Rent collection
- Taking formal tenancy action when necessary.
- Ability to take on a lead role within the team, providing guidance and support to colleagues.
- Self-motivation with confidence in positively influencing people from diverse backgrounds.
- Comfortable collaborating with:
- Colleagues across the business
- External partners
The Practical Details
- Rota system: Monday–Friday with one weekend shift every two weeks.
- Location: Wilkinson House, Wymondham (with travel across properties in Wymondham & Norwich).
- Technology skills: Experience using systems for:
- Support plans
- Benefit claims processing
- Tenancy sign-ups.
- Mobility:
- Valid driving licence required.
- Vehicle must also be insured for business use—with mileage reimbursed.
- DBS check:
- Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check required.
- We’ll pay for this.
