Position Overview
- Salary: £27,500 per annum (pro-rata), £14.06 per hour
- Benefits: Great benefits including Health Cash Plan
- Hours & Contract: Permanent, part-time (22.5 hrs/week) on a rota system including weekends.
- Location: Wilkinson House covering properties across Wymondham & Norwich
- Notes: No CoS offer for this role

About the Role This is a great opportunity for a Housing Management Coordinator to join our team.
As our Housing and Property specialist, you’ll provide tenancy support to ensure customers have safe, well-maintained homes.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Supporting customers to manage and maintain their tenancies and rent accounts to progress toward secure, long-term accommodation.
- Working with customers who have experienced homelessness, including those with needs such as offending, physical/mental health challenges, or substance misuse.
What You’ll Do

Customer Engagement
- Help ensure customers’ properties are homes they can be proud of through active engagement in their tenancies.
- Assist with housing benefit claims, ensuring payments are applied to rent accounts.

Tenancy Compliance & Action
- Issue and sign warning letters and notices (where necessary), including court attendance when required.

Property Turnaround
- Prepare rooms for new customers on time, aiming to maximize occupancy by reletting vacancies swiftly while meeting maintenance standards.

What You’ll Need (Requirements)
- Experience managing a housing management caseload.
- Knowledge of reletting rooms/units, rent collection, and formal tenancy action.
- Ability to take a lead role by guiding colleagues and offering support.
- Initiative to work independently, fostering positive influence across diverse customer backgrounds.
- Confidence in collaborating with internal teams and external partners/agencies.

Key Work Conditions
- Rota system: Monday–Friday, plus one Saturday every two weeks.
- Travel: Based at Wilkinson House, Wymondham, working across properties in Wymondham & Norwich.
- Mandatory: Must have a valid driving licence and an insured vehicle (business-use).
- Note: Expenses/mileage covered by us.
- Tech Skills: Comfortable managing systems for:
- Support plans, benefit claims, and tenancy sign-ups.
- DBS Check: Enhanced clearance required (cost covered by employer).
