Housing Management Lawyer
Legal Salary and Structure
- Up to £50,000 per year (dependent on skills and experience)
- plus health cash plan saving you and your children over £1,140 a year
- Permanent, full-time (37.5 hours per week)
- Hybrid – based in Newcastle city centre or one of our other nationwide offices

About the Role
You’ll work closely with a supportive legal team, sharing knowledge and building strong partnerships across the business. You’ll have the chance to:

Key Responsibilities
- Advise on housing litigation, including:
- Anti-social behaviour cases
- Tenancy breach cases
- Prepare court applications, statements, and all supporting evidence
- Represent the organisation at court or instruct external legal support
- Manage a wide range of housing management legal matters
- Support policy and procedures to ensure legal and regulatory compliance

Requirements
You will have:
- Solicitor or barrister qualification with rights of audience
- Experience managing housing litigation or a similar legal caseload
- Knowledge of civil procedure rules and court processes
- Experience handling:
- Anti-social behaviour cases
- Possession cases
- Tenancy breach cases
- Strong skills in:
- Drafting legal documents
- Preparing court cases

The Practical Details
- Typically 2 days per week based in our Newcastle City Centre office, but flexible arrangements are considered.
- Work Monday to Friday, with built-in flexibility.
