Housing Management Worker
Location: Based at our service in Leeds
Type: Permanent, full-time (37.5 hours per week), Monday to Friday
Salary: £13.45 per hour (£26,300 per annum) plus great benefits including a Health Cash Plan
We can’t offer a COS for this role.

This is a great opportunity to join our team. You’ll support our customers, ensuring their homes are safe and well maintained. Providing a housing management service, you’ll support them to manage and maintain their tenancy and rent accounts with the aim of helping them move on to a secure, long-term accommodation.
What You’ll Do
- Support customers aged over 55
- Engage and involve customers in their tenancies
- Assist with housing benefit claims, ensuring these are applied to rent accounts
- Turn around vacant or void rooms / bed spaces / properties within set timelines, which may involve practical tasks like cleaning or minor repairs
- Carry out and record routine safety and compliance checks in our buildings and communities, ensuring we maintain regulatory standards

Requirements
You should have:
- A background in property management (not a deal-breaker, but helpful)
- Previously worked in an environment with compliance and health & safety checks preferred
- A passion for delivering excellent customer service, combined with a genuine desire to help vulnerable customers
- Strong initiative and the ability to positively influence people from diverse backgrounds
- Confidence working collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation and external partners
- Enthusiasm for property and a motivating factor of knowing that your properties are at their best for our customers
Practical Details
- Flexible working hours (or flexible work patterns can be agreed)
- Location: Based in Leeds
- Technical skills: Ability to use technology for:
- Creating and updating support plans
- Managing housing benefit claims
- Filing tenancy agreements
