Housing Management Worker

Location: Based at our service in Leeds

Hours:

  • Permanent, full time (37.5 hours per week)
  • Monday to Friday

Salary:

  • £13.45 per hour (£26,300 per annum)
  • Great benefits including Health Cash Plan

About the Opportunity

Home, a place where you belong This is a great opportunity to join our team. You’ll support our customers, ensuring their homes are safe and well maintained. Providing a housing management service, you’ll support them to manage and maintain their tenancy and rent accounts with the aim of helping them move on to secure, long-term accommodation.

What You’ll Do

  • Customer group: over 55
  • Support your customers by engaging and involving them in their tenancies
  • Help our customers with housing benefit claims, ensuring these are received on their rent account
  • Turn around vacant or void rooms / bed spaces / properties within set timescales
    • This will involve tasks like picking up a broom or paintbrush!
  • Carry out and record routine safety and compliance checks in our buildings and communities, ensuring compliance

Requirements

You have

  • A background in property management (not required, not a deal breaker)
    • Perhaps experience in an environment with compliance and health and safety checks?
  • A passion for delivering excellent customer service and a genuine desire to help customers
  • Ability to work on your own initiative, positively influencing people from different backgrounds
  • Confidence in collaborating with colleagues across the business and external partners
  • Passion for property and enjoyment from ensuring your properties are the best for customers

    • Creating and updating support plans
