Housing Manager

Housing Manager – Income & Arrears Specialist

Salary: £32,000 to £38,000 per annum (dependent on skills and experience) + 34 days leave (rising to 39), a health cash plan saving over £1,140/year for you and your children.

Role Type: Permanent, full-time (37.5 hours per week) in a hybrid role covering Oxfordshire and High Wycombe.

No Customer Of Service (CoS) entitlements available.

About the Role

As a Housing Manager with a specialised focus on income and arrears, you’ll excel in helping customers stay in their homes while carefully managing income to protect future reinvestment.

This isn’t your average estate management role—no inspections or anti-social behaviour cases. Instead, you’ll work smart, spezialise in a clear niche, and make a meaningful difference.

  • Home-based work with 1–2 days per week spent on community visits (arrears calls, court appearances).
  • Flexibility to work in a way that suits you, with genuine autonomy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively manage rent accounts to reduce arrears and prevent bad debt.
  • Agree realistic repayment plans, balancing customer needs with organisational goals.
  • Support customers in maximising income through benefits and financial support.
  • Meet set targets with a focus on early risk mitigation and data-driven decisions.
  • Represent the organisation in court and work closely with internal partners.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
