Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Housing Officer based in the Manchester Area, United Kingdom, with opportunities for partial remote work. The Housing Officer will be responsible for managing day-to-day housing operations, including tenancy and housing management, handling anti-social behavior cases, and providing support and advice to tenants. The role requires building strong relationships with tenants and stakeholders while promoting a positive and supportive community environment. In addition, the Housing Officer will ensure compliance with policies and standards, and contribute towards the Trust’s mission of making South Manchester a better place to live.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Domestic Abuse Case Coordination
- Experience identifying and addressing Domestic Abuse
- Exceptional Communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with tenants and stakeholders
- Strong case management and partnership management skills required to our vulnerable customers,
- Knowledge and experience in Domestic Abuse and Safeguarding
- Ability to manage duties independently while contributing to team objectives
- Understanding of housing policies, regulations, and best practices
- Relevant qualifications or professional certifications in Housing or related fields are a plus
- Strong organisational skills with a commitment to delivering outstanding service to the community
