Transitional Housing Officer (Part-Time)
About Break Away Group
Break Away Group is a growing property management company specialising in transitional housing, residential property management and serviced accommodation across London. Working with registered housing providers, private landlords and accommodation providers, we help residents sustain their tenancies and move towards independent living.
The Role
We're looking for a Driven, compassionate, organised and proactive Transitional Housing Officer to manage a portfolio of transitional housing properties across North West London.
This is a flexible, community-based role combining tenancy management, property inspections, resident support and housing administration. You'll work independently while making a real difference to residents and maintaining high housing standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Complete tenancy sign-ups, move-ins and move-outs.
- Carry out weekly property inspections and welfare visits.
- Manage resident enquiries and tenancy-related issues.
- Coordinate repairs and liaise with contractors.
- Maintain accurate tenancy records and case notes.
- Monitor rent accounts and support residents with housing queries.
- Work closely with landlords, support workers and referral partners.
- Identify and report safeguarding, maintenance or compliance concerns.
About You
- Experience in housing, supported housing, homelessness, property management or a similar role (or transferable experience with a willingness to learn).
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Able to work independently and manage your own workload.
- Confident supporting vulnerable adults while maintaining professional boundaries.
- IT literate with good record-keeping skills.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

- Guaranteed 20 hours per week. (£12.71-£14.50/ph)
